EA Account Still Linked to Previous Owner
Hey everyone,
I bought a second-hand Xbox One a few years ago, and I just realized that the previous owner’s EA account is still linked to my EA account. Now, whenever I try to unlink it, EA requires a verification code that gets sent to the old owner’s email.
I managed to find their contact info and sent them a polite email explaining the situation, but I haven’t heard back yet. I don’t want to be stuck with their account permanently, but EA won’t let me remove it without that code.
Has anyone dealt with something similar? Is there any way to get EA to help without access to the original email? I appreciate any advice!
Thanks!
