EA App is malware and needs to be removed

EA c2000 "Shutdown all background tasks before playing the game."

EA c2023 "Here are some background tasks required to play the game that will hurt the performance of your system"

Hello, Security Professional here. Yes it would legally be considered spyware as well as malware. You are objectively lying to the community. 

"Totally safe."

Just like water, which can kill you if you drink too much of it. The dose makes the poison, and even a "totally safe" app that has several instances and uses TONS of system resources even when it isn't actively needed is BAD SOFTWARE. You spouting the party line that it's "totally safe" makes anything you say completely suspect, because those of us that deal with it on a constant basis know that it isn't. Closing the thread is a cheap way of minimizing people with actual complaints about your garbage app.

EA should be ashamed of itself, and you along with them.
