EA App keeps opening by itself at random

Has anyone found a fix for this? I had taken to moving the app to the trash bin just to keep the **bleep** thing closed even though i have auto updates and all that turned off. Now its moving itself from the trash to desktop just to open on its own!

2 years later, it's still happening and still no solution or even an answer. This platform is a joke

I've seen so many posts like this and just created my own new threat on the topic, but no one ever seems to get the help they're seeking from EA and we are not allowed to create a ticket for this. WHY? Why does EA not monitor these forums and try to help people? Why is there no solution for this problem? Every time I play a steam game and shut it down for the night, I wake up the next morning to EA on my screen like a jealous ex girlfriend, demanding love and attention even though you moved on and want to see other games.

I am having this problem. It will just open randomly for no reason. Even if I am not playing any games at all. I can just be sitting at my desk not touching my PC and it will open for no reason. I have turned off all options that can be set to off. It is starting to really annoy me to the point that I am considering unistalling and not bothering with the few EA games I play and not buying any more.

This keeps happening to me on Mac, but not on my Windows laptop.

It keeps doing it to me too, i just died playing suicide squad because the bloody EA app opened itself and i had no control over my game, beyond annoying.

Have you found a fix for this?
