EA App replacement of Origin

I recently notice that EA App no longer has on top Beta anymore.it now say EA. Though what i am wondering. When Origin retires. What happens to all the other games on steam that used Origin? Or will them games on steam continue to use Origin even when EA no longer support it? Thanks for any info on this. 🙂

    @EchoFourth Don't worry, all Steam games will be preserved as they are linked to your EA account, not Origin. The only thing that will be lost is the time played count, it will start from 0h, or at least it has from my experience.

    @QuietBad I know about that. Though I know games on Steam have origin to install. Them games do not use EA App. That what makes me wonder.

    Hey @EchoFourth these games should continue to work. 

    The team will continue to work on the EA App and integration so don't worry.

    @EA_Darko Thank you for the response. Just can't wait for origin to be retired as im liking the EA desktop better.
