EA Desktop not opening through Xbox app

ive been having a similar issue - after starting EA desktop from Xbox app (game pass PC) the EA desktop starts, logs in but then the actual client does not show up.

App is active on the task bar but when I hover over to bring to front it shows as though all other windows are minimised and i can see my desktop but no EA desktop app

    @DrivingItHome09 

    Thanks for those details. Do you have an anti-virus app running? If so, try disabling it. If that works, you should be able to whitelist the EA Desktop app so your anti-virus doesn't block it.

    Hi there, @DrivingItHome09.

    Is this only happening when you try to open the EA Desktop app through the Xbox app or are you also unable to open the EA Desktop app outside of the Xbox app?

    I have attempted the following:

    1) Opened from Xbox app where it shows explore in EA desktop

    2) Open EA desktop singularly (without Xbox app) and sign in VIA Xbox.

    3) Uninstall and reinstall EA desktop with the same result

    4) Uninstall and reinstall Xbox app

    This worked fine up until Thursday 16/09/21 (from what i can remember), Events at that time were:

    Played a game of Apex Legends and EA desktop hasn't loaded

    I have the exact same issue. EA Desktop starts correctly with a different EA Account, but not with the one linked to my xbox account. Background services are also working, I can still start & play games by just clicking the exe file, overlay also works. Is there any update on this issue? Also uploaded some log files, if that helps.

    (No, I don't have an Antivirus-Scanner running.)
