Game Not Launching: Invalid License

Hi There

I have recently bought a PC for gaming and was setting up the EA app, i managed to play battlefield 4, however when i installed dead space, need for speed and now jade empire, none of them work because of this: invalid license missing d3dx9_29.dll error 0x7e

I have looked into past threads but i cannot find any of the folders suggested and the downloads listed were expired.

I am fairly new to this, but will really appreciate your help.

    @SecretShazo 

    It looks DirectX is not properly installed.

    • Go to your ">Drive<:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Dead Space\__Installer\directx\redist\" folder.
    • Deleter all the files with a *.cab file extension. (Only the files with a *.cab file extension.)
    • Run the "DXSETUP.exe" in the same folder as Administrator. (Right click the exe > Run as Administrator)
    • Restart the PC.
    • Test.

    If that works repeat it for the other games.
