How do I play the Sims 4 offline with the EA app?

I have recently installed the EA app, as was recommended. Before with the Origin app I could choose the play offline, but now that is not possible anymore. My internet is currently down. I cannot o...

super disappointed that the team behind sims 4 has gone so low as to lock players out of the game if their internet is out. This is primarily a single player game anyways, this just makes me want to never play the sims again.
