    Hey all,

So there are two settings actually that can influence this auto-start behaviour of the EA app.

Windows (10) Settings, this takes priority over the EA app in-app setting:

When this Windows (10) setting is enabled: if you have the EA app still active and you turn off the PC, despite having the in-app setting turned off, the EA app will start again upon the next sign in.

When this Windows (10) setting is disabled: only the EA app in-app setting can influence this behaviour.

    EA app in-app setting:

    Hope this helps!

  • Unfortunately it does not show itself in task manager, nor does it show itself the windows settings startup menu. I was able to disable the startup of the xbox app (As I've got the two linked.) and that fixed it.

Thank you for the help everyone.

    Hey @TippyBuckle8254

I have moved your post to the EA (Desktop) app section of the forums. 🙂 So it's all nice in one category.

Unfortunately, the EA app doesn't have a manual Start with Windows etc. button in the settings of the app yet. However, you should be able to disable automatic startup (if it is happening to you) via the Startup Programs via Windows Taskmanager.

    - Open Windows Taskmanager
    - Click on the Startup tab
    - Disable the EA app if you see if there

    Hope this helps.

  • @TippyBuckle8254 I've moved your topic to the general EA board, as it seems a better fit than the Battlefield 2042 one.

For navigation, you should also see a menu option at the top-right of this site that will let you select the various boards

@TippyBuckle8254 Hi if you are using origin, click on origin in the menu bar (top left corner) select Application settings scroll down to Start up options and deselect automatically start origin. this website is fairly standard, you have managed to post, where are you trying to navigate to?
