With the latest update we added the functionality where you can create a desktop shortcut when installing a game.
What do you think?

Right click the game cover in Steam > Manage > Add Desktop Shortcut.
If that don't works then there is a problem in Steam, EA app has nothing to do with this.

Why do some people not even make an effort to read past and partly the last comment?
1- "How do you create game shortcut on EA Desktop APP",
2- "if so , open the EA app on the desktop , click my collection, find the game you want to add shortcut to desktop and click the 3 dots in the top right corner of the tile"

Holger1405Hero, that is incorrect. I have played Mass Effect legendary several times through Steam until EA took control. Now, it takes an act of congress to get the game to launch. The EA app is a complete disaster.
