Here to add my frustration to the mix. It is now JANUARY OF 2024, and I STILL can't play the SINGLE PLAYER game I have legally owned since its release in 2014, and invested hundreds of dollars in unless I'm signed in Online. This is beyond frustrating, especially when I want to play it on my Steam Deck, which isn't always connected to the internet.
I refuse to put any more money into anything distributed by EA until this gets fixed. Luckily, I still have Sims 2 and 3 discs, so I still have arguably better sims games that WILL work offline (on my PC, at least). We also have Life By You to look forward to.
Sincerely, screw you EA. You've had literal years to fix this, and still NOTHING.
