Is there an .msi installer package for the EA desktop thatworks on Windows 7?

Question

I have tried repeatedly to install the EA app. Each time it stalls at "downloading stuff", then claims not to be connected to the Internet.

I have rebooted pc and router, put the pc into a dmz with the same result.

I found a .msi package but on running it fails telling me the package is not for windows 7 and exits.

EA claim that the App is for all windows, 7 included, yet I still am cut off from playing any EA games.

Is there a specific installer package that supports windows 7?

The EA app is available to all players on a (minimum) 64-bit PC system, running Windows 7, 8, 10, and 11.

Thank you for the quick reply,.I have actually tried that, but to confirm i have disabled all but windows services and removed auto startup items.The issue remains, currently the pc is not firewalled, i have disabled any router firewall and even put in custom rules allowing EA app installer access.&nbsp;All to no avail. I still get this nessage.
