Trying to play on Steam but needs Link2EA app which wont work help ???

I fixed by completely uninstalling origin, then booting through steam. The steam system then reinstalled origin and SW:JFO worked first time.

I had the same problem. It fixed itself by loading EA origin and then re-launching within steam. After you launch once with Origin running it seems to work just fine.
I did that but even trying to download Origin its popping up the same notifications as steam was when I tried to open the app.
ok so i just figures out that windows 10 is not compatible with origin, so that may be your problem

you are missing the Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 from your system. Please download it from the Microsoft website and make sure you install the x86 and x64 versions. Afterwards, restart your system.
