Need for Speed Rivals not launching
NFS: Rivals used to launch fine from Origin. Recently I installed EA App and NFS Rivals. When I run Rivals from the desktop shortcut it just launches EA App without even taking me to the Rivals page. If I navigate to the Rivals page and click on "Play", it just shows the "Launching Game" card endlessly. The NFS Rivals executable doesn't even show in Task Manager.
I have tried repairing the installation and restarting my PC, but to no avail. On a related note, Jedi: Fallen Order will also not launch from EA App (it actually gets past the "Launching Game" card, but not past the Fallen Order splash screen), but launches from Steam just fine.
HI @Timeslice When you have a moment can we try the following?
- EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)
- Repair/Verify your game based on which client you are launching from
- EA App - Repair (My Collection > Tile Dots > Repair)
- Run the System File Checker tool then Check for Windows and GPU updates
- Default your game to the high-performance GPU, AMD Settings | Nvidia Settings | Windows Settings
- Guide for Troubleshooting Graphics issues
- Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance
