No way to preload Battlefield 2042 on EA app

I can't find a way to preload battlefield 2042 on EA app via Game Pass's EA play.I find the preload button on origin, but it seems that I can only use my ea play(gained from the game pass) on the ea ...

    It should be appearing in EA Desktop now, if not restart it.

Just wanted to add to this question. As a GamePass member the only way to use my EA Play membership is via the EA Desktop app. Want to know how I can access the Battlefield 2042 beta early access via EA Desktop. Even downloading the beta on Origin but it does not show on EA Desktop at all.

Origin as stated above does not recognise my EA Play membership.

    Same here. I even went to the web version of origin logged into my EA account that's linked to my MS account that has Gamepass, I was able to click pre load, and now in EA Desktop in my library there is "Battlefield 2042 Technical Playtest" but when I click on it it dose nothing and in red letters right below it it says "the alpha has expiered".

      @sean8102 Good info, then there is a chance that they forgot to deploy the beta on the ea app at all

        Update on the 2042 beta Q&A webpage: EA app is still listed as a platform to play the beta(with origin, epic, steam etc). But in the "links to download 2042 beta" part, there is no link to EA app download. There are origin, steam and epic for PC, no EA app!
