Re: Contact EA app support

Hi,

It's being used by another program. I have to stop the app Services and then it changes, but then the app doesn't load.

It'll be prompt me to update and when a small update box launches, it closes in 4 seconds because it's already updated.

I then have to repair the app in order to login again.

@Kunjer  Is there a reason to change the name of the folder? Normally you should not touch anything like that unless there is some issue with it in the first place.

Personal preference.

Is that the default name? Games?

@Kunjer  Probable and since you are getting errors every time you try and change something with it I suggest you don't touch it at all. Just my opinion.

@Kunjer  Even if you contact official support they will probable say the same thing as I said before. If it does not cause any issues with your computer or anything else on your computer than you really should just leave it alone.

The EA app is designed to be installed exclusively on the default C drive and doesn't support installation on other drives. Nonetheless, you have the option to designate or create an alternate installation location for the games downloaded through the app within the app's settings and during the installation process.

Anyway, you haven't answered my question, is there no way to choose your own file name for the EA app, like gaming apps.
