I'm not sure specifically about Dragon Age: Origins, but EA Desktop doesn't support command line arguments, so you can't set the datapath for Frosty Mod Manager mods like you could do with Origin. We can only hope for an update that adds command line arguments back for mod support on Frosty games.

For me as an EA Play member I was hoping to play Mass Effect Andromeda modded, but am unable to. On the other hand, I play SW Battlefront 2 modded on Origin no problem.

@Tommysonic5 It's possible many thing can be added to help with mods. They might even have plans to fully support mods in the future with their client who knows.

If not then then Frosty Games would have to come up with something that allowed them to add mods to games in some way.

If it helps there's still a very long way to go with the EA Desktop Beta.

But in this case it is not necessary. Op is asking about DAO and DAO is not a Frostbite game.
