Hello,Yesterday I installed EA Desktop and uninstalled Origin. Unfortunately I got quickly dissapointed and frustrated when I tried to play Battlefront 2 from my Epic account, and the Jedi The Fallen Order from Steam and both tried to install Origin, not recognizing that EA Desktop is fully installed and should be their "partner" instead of Origin.Obviously I dont want to have both (Origin and EA Desktop) installed. What should I do? Is it intended to work this way?Thanks in advance.

@-H4MLE7- EA Desktop is in beta status, i.e. not all functions are implemented yet. You can run EA Desktop and Origin together, if you don't want that, Origin is your only option for the time being.

Steam and Epic games cannot be installed on EA Desktop

You need both (EA DEsktop and Origin) cause you bougth those games from Epic and Steam

Thank you for your reply although I don´t see the reason why...I mean, EA Desktop is meant to replace Origin, right? Otherwise I would not see any reason to "upgrade/renovate/rename" the launcher IMHO.

That is not true. I had to reinstall windows because I couldn't get EA Desktop installed because it has issues with Origin installed on the same PC. But in order to use XBOX Gamepass you have to run EA Desktop. Origin is not supported.
Now here you turn things arround again.
You can't have it both ways. either it is a beta and I can install Origin instead or it is the only supported tool and I can't run Origin.
What EA is doing here, is once again, total BS.

@holger1405Please could you explain how to get both running together? If I try both, Origin tells me I can't have EA Play as well. XBox Game Pass >requires< EA play, and Epic Games Store Battlefront II >requires< Origin, yet I've never gotten both to work together ☹️

Title ^ It's a simple question. There's lots of users who have bought games on Steam and still relies on Origin. When are we going to be able to see Steam/Epic Games in EA App ?
