Trouble with the ea app

Hello!

I have been having trouble with my sims game as well as the EA app for some time now. What started as an issue with my sims game constantly crashing(i did a mod clean-out and this helped) has now turned into the ea app as a whole no longer opening. A few months back i, at what i thought was a successful attempt, downloaded my sims 4 game to an ssd card to allow for more space. I honestly cant remember if I was able to open the EA app or not as i am not a consistent player. Anyways, last week i went to open the ea app and i was able to successfully open it, but every time i went to go play the sims 4 it would tell me i needed an update. I updated it a few times and then i realized it was obviously some sort of glitch and it did not need updating. I contacted support and they said they'd look into it and in the meantime i should checkout the forum. In doing so I found a page that recommended i delete the ea app and redownload it. Since doing that I am now unable to even open the EA app. Im unsure if this is due to the ssd card or if this is an entirely different issue. Any feedback on this will be much appreciated as I am stumped.
