Why am I getting forced to install EA App?
every time i open origin it softlocks me into a window that suggests to install ea app. now i thought okay its forcing me to install this must be a good reason but no. i log in with the right account...

@TTVysnowzie My issue with this is it forces me to install EA App and when I do it disables my active EA Play subscription in Battlefield 2042. I don't receive any in game monthly rewards, and the in-game store doesn't apply the 10% OFF for having a EA Play sub. So basically, the sub doesn't work with EA App and BF2042. But they forcing it upon me. Crazy.
They did exactly this a few weeks ago, basically elected to deny access to many users who were blocked from using the Origin Login, because of the prodigiously annoying EA App upgrade pop up.
They took around 7-10 days to wake up to the fact that people were unable to access PAID FOR CONTENT at all, when someone at EA removed the EA App pop up from the Origin Login, and all was well again.
Until a few days ago, when someone else at EA decided it was time to mess Customers around again and, here we are.
