Forum Discussion
@EA_Darko, please start reading the users posts.
All your interaction lately have been to lock posts or promote the EA app...
The app does not work! We can't play the games we purchased! There are talks about starting a class action suit against EA for that garbage launcher...
So please, instead of just "moderating" the content, actually forward the feedback to higher management!
The new app is a failure, it is destroying EA's already damaged brand!
We would like to have EA representatives telling us what the company is doing so that we can play the games we purchased and are now incapable of launching!
Have a nice day
Just so you are aware @Normand_Nadon22 discussing moderation is a breach of the AHQ User Rules and Guidelines.
If you wish to play EA games then you will need to use the EA app, you will no longer be able to use Origin.

@EA_Darko I will not discuss moderation again, thank you.
Could you please acknowledge that you understood what we are saying?
We would like to play games and use the EA app... The EA app simply does not work!
It fails without error message, it refuses to launch games, it won't work offline.
I tried reaching support about this, I was redirected here, where it seems like no one can help because we are all facing the same issues and EA won't help us, or acknowledge the issue!
Just going over the hundreds of messages over here, it is easy to see the issue, and the frustration of the community.

The EA app should be renamed to EA Crap!
- Origin was bad, but at least it's worked...- 2 years ago
What infuriates me the most, is not the fact that the EA app is a piece of garbage because it is unfinished and filled with bug...
My frustration is on EA for forcing this app instead of going in BETA and fixing bugs first, and now that it is live and enforced, there is no one at EA listening to feedback and providing solutions...
Support won't help and they send us here... Here, it is like yelling in front of a building where no one inside is hearing!
EA's level of care about their customers clearly shows! I work in the IT support field and you can tell when a business has bad customer relationships not when they do good, but when they do wrong!
Being proud of the game they produce is great, and their games are great, otherwise we wouldn't be here.
But ignoring/shaming/blocking negative feedback when your company screws up - and I believe it is in good faith, no dev wants to put-out broken software - that is where you see the true nature of the company!
@EA_Darko I am asking again,
Can this issue (that now has 100 answers here, and thousands in other threads and platforms) be forwarded to higher management, and can an official statement on the steps EA intends to take to fix it be produced ?
If you are not in a position to do that, can you point us in the direction of the right procedure for this major issue to be considered and fixed by EA ?Regards.

Exhibit A: EA and their employees don't understand the concept of KNOW YOUR CUSTOMER.
At your peril Electronic Arts....

I am posting this on LTT forums, maybe they can pressure EA during a WAN Show!

Love it, freaking radio silence from anyone with an EA before their name for months only for them to come in and threaten a user with a ban for calling them out on it. Way to go EA
- 2 years agoSounds about right. They don't care, if they ever have, but it feels like it's been a race to the bottom of the barrel ever since they rolled out Project Ten Dollar back in 2009/2010.
With the possible exception that, if my suspicion is correct, they might care juuuust enough to keep forcing people to use their proprietary apps so they can both get unpaid product testing out of it and fight for every last cent they can get at the same time. Since they're probably counting on people buying new games / add-ons directly through their stupid app (rather than through, for example, Steam).
