Why am I getting forced to install EA App?
every time i open origin it softlocks me into a window that suggests to install ea app. now i thought okay its forcing me to install this must be a good reason but no. i log in with the right account...

Except the app you're forcing onto us does not work. I cannot play the games i paid for due to an ongoing issue that has been reported in multiple threads over months and months of no changes. The EA App cannot launch my games and consistently fails, saying its a fault on their end. Every attempt to solve this was fruitless and at the end of the day I cannot even use Origin, the only way i was able to use the game i purchased, because its apparently necessary to FORCE users to install this trash.
So this has been like this for month's? and they still haven't done anything to fix it... Damn that's bad. Well I guess f*** EA then. I'm out, there are better games to play elsewhere.
Yes, this nightmare EA App issue has indeed been going on for Months.
At no stage did they state that EA Games were time limited, which is effectively what they have now done.
I can no longer get access at all, despite wasting huge amounts of time trying to find a legal workaround.The EA App now pops up every time I launch, cannot login, none of the Origin screen menus work, and the EA App fails to install every time.
I have also tried downloading it and installing that way, which doesn't work either.Timely reminder that any Game that requires a login, is bad news, or will be bad news at some stage.
I could not be more unimpressed with EA.
Years, not months. It's terrible. I won't be buying anything EA anymore even a Bioware game. Sorry this is just too much not being able to play the games I paid for so many years now.
