2 conflicting editions of Titanfall 2

I own Titanfall 2 deluxe edition on steam and I claimed Titanfall 2 Ultimate edition recently as a Game Pass Ultimate member and I can't access the ultimate edition on the EA app unfortunately. On the EA app it says download through steam in order to manage the game. When I try and install the game through the Xbox app I get the pop up in the EA app and it works until I click the install button then nothing happens the game doesn't start downloading.
