I am having this issue as well. I have only ever owned the Sims 4 on Mac (I haven't owned a PC in years and years). When I logged in at the news of the new Sims 4 expansion pack, I noticed in the store some older Sims 4 expansions are showing as "purchasable" for me, despite knowing that I own them:
I thought it was just a shop bug, so I went to go look at my library and clicked the "85 Add-Ons" button beneath the game title. Now I see this:
I own every expansion pack on Mac. Only ever purchased on Mac.
In case it is relevant, I also had the issue with EA app not letting me play the Sims 4 at all previously. When this error was happening, it was telling me that "the sims 4 cannot be played with your video card" or something to that affect. None of the troubleshooting really helped in the thread, but it randomly started working for me again. I only mention this in case it has something to do with the EA App client itself.
Specs:
- Macbook Pro, M1, 2020
- 8 GB Memory
- 14.2.1 MacOS (Sonoma)
The only main changes to my PC have been related to the EA App.
It happened to me as well. But it was after uninstalling The Sims 4 on EA App (i had an issue with corrupted files).
At first, the greyed out packs didn't reinstall, but after launching the game, they started reinstalling. They seem to work fine.
I have Macbook Air M1 2020 (lowest specs) and all my packs were purchased on this macbook.
