Can't access ea account because I lost access to my gmail

I can't begin to describe how disgusted I am with ea's technical support. I lost access to my gmail account and now I can't access my ea because I need the verification code from my gmail. Instead of getting another possible way of logining in, all I seem to find is ea basically saying "It's your problem and that you must take it up with your email service provider." unfortuantly for me, google is just as useless so I can't take it up with my email service provider :)
