"Couldn't connect to servers" when trying to check-out on EA app

I've been trying to purchase bundles for The Sims - which I can't do in-game - and EA app would not let me check-out. Every time I click check-out, it takes me to payment information but immediatelly...

Yes this is happening to me too!!! must be an EA issue. which is odd because their is a sale currently going on...

    I don't see they customizable bundles on the website, so need to purchase in the app. Guess I'll save my money if it's not fixed.
