Hi!
Sadly this did not change anything. The download button is still showing for all games in the now correctly set install location. I can see all of my games sitting there but using their exe. files does not succeed in starting the game. When used the EA app shows up (opens if closed, or becomes primary window if not) and I am greeted with a window saying:
"Game not installed
Go to your library to double.check xxxxx is installed properly. If the game's already installed, click the 3 dots on the game tile to manage and repair files."
to further disappointment the 3 dots only gives me one option: "Download"...
If you start the download and wait for it, does it try to download the full game again or it recognizes that some files are already installed? Also the transition from Origin to EA App on PC happened a while ago, so it's very likely that you need to update most of your EA Games.

Sadly this did not solve my problem. Clicking download on the games takes me to a screen where i get to decide install location and if I want to add a shortcut, pressing next I come to a screen with content warnings and a bunch of agreements. Pressing download on that page takes me back to the library but nothing happens. The download button is still showing and no progress seems to have started.

Since the download is not starting, I would suggest trying the steps in this article: Games that won't download, install, or load in the EA app
