Downloading Stuck

Hi,

I know there has been many threads about this over a long period of time but this issue is still happening. I have been unable to download the sims at all, ive tried uninstalling EA app, clearing cache files, closing EA background servvice in task manager, deleting everything about the current download for EA and still nothing. At first it was stuck on pause and I finally got it to 'preparing' download, unfortunately I have left it overnight and it hasnt budged. I managed to get 2% of it downloaded somehow but still its stuck.

This is an absolute joke as Ive tried everything I can think of, has there been anything from EA on how to fix this?
