I'm having a similar Issue and haven't heard anything about a fix from anyone.
I'm at the point where I want a refund because EA just isn't working as it should, and seeing all the people reporting a similar issue lets me know it's not something I did.
But again, all the EA accounts are run by AI it seems, so we're not ever going to get any help. My suggestion is to let people know what they did and save everyone else some money.
