EA app has been broken for months...
My EA app has been broken for months now and I am finding it ridiculously hard to get in contact with EA.
When I click the ea app it 'opens' in the sense that up beside the apple logo it will say EA App, settings, etc. but the window itself does not show, i can just see my homescreen.
I have tried the following
- deleting and reinstalling app (tried MULTIPLE times, same issue every single time)
- trying to clear cache from the top bar of the screen
- downloading ORIGIN for the sake of trying to at least play the games as normal
- restarting laptop
- sign out and back in of laptop
It is beyond frustrating at this point, every thread I have found on a broken ea app gives them same steps i mentioned to 'fix it'. Really sucks because I spent a lot of money on buying expansion packs on a game i cant even use.

I just fixed my EA app after it not working for months! I hope this works for everyone who is having the same issue.,
- Turn on laptop and put it in airplane mode or turn off wifi
- Launch EA app - it will open up and crash,
- During that crash open up the Sims 4
- EA app won't open but game should
- you should then be able to reconnect your internet and everything should work smoothly again.
I got this from Stevie Dongle on TikTok and it has fixed my app and sims. Hope this helps!
