EA app keeps opening when closing the Sims 4

I've set in the EA app settings that I don't want it to open when I start my computer. The app doesn't open when I start my computer, but it does open when I close the Sims 4. I don't want the whole app, but I need to because the Sims is from EA. I've got the Sims 4 via Steam. It's irritating me. How do I solve it?
