Purchased Madden 26 in Epic - wont install

I purchased the game through Epic Games launcher, but it does not actually install.  I did link the account to an EA account that I created at the time.  What is the problem?

    The only feedback I get is "please wait while we install the partner application" .  Then nothing happens.
