EA App not installing: error code INST-3-1310
Yesterday, I was playing the sims 4, building for quite some time, I saved my game and walked away from my computer to go and finish dinner. When I returned to my computer about 40 minutes after, I was back on my desktop.
"Not a problem," I think, because my game was still up, but when I went to click on it on my task bar, it wouldn't open. I didn't panic, because I had saved my game, and I restarted my laptop and went to just re-open my game.
So, I try and open the sims 4... And the EA app just isn't launching. I try a few times, and nothing was working. I figure "maybe my launcher is messed up?" and go to uninstall it so I can reinstall it (I've done this like 7 times before and that's what usually works when my app usually uninstalls itself.)
But, when I went to go re-download the app through EA's website, I wind up with the error code "INST-3-1310"
I've tried using some link I found other people using that they claimed work, but when I used that, I wound up with a message saying something about the QTquick and asking if I can verify I have access to it.
I an using a Lenovo laptop with Windows 11, any help would be greatly appriciated. Thank you so much for reading my ramblings !!
Update: It was an issue with my laptop's drivers, the problem has been fixed after I repaired them !!
