EA App refuses to open after download - Mac

Just redownloaded the EA app and after installation the app icon bounces once when clicked on and does not open. I have followed the steps to install the app correctly so I am not sure what is wrong. I am currently running Sequoia 15.3.2 and have already restarted my laptop.
