EA App Says Game Pass has Expired

Hello!

this is my first time posting here or ever having an issue like this. 

I'm attempting to open Sims 4 and when the EA App launches a warning comes up that says "Your Game Pass has Expired To play The Sims 4, renew your xbox game pass subscription."

I googled this and followed some steps to do the app recovery, logged out, restarted pc, and logged back in, cleaned the folders and checked my subscription which is in fact active, so there is nothing for me to renew. 

While looking online I saw some people talking about this on Reddit, but the post was from 7 months ago and nobody posted an update.  I was just able to access my game about 3 days ago too. 

Has there been a resolution for this one?
