EA app slowing PC even when not open

I use a gaming laptop with Windows 11 and whenever I have the EA app installed my computer gets slower and laggy, even though the app is set not to open when I start my computer. When Windows licks due to inactivity the only way I can get it to unlock is to wake it up and then do Alt+Ctrl+Del and starting task manager as it gets stuck on a black screen with jus the mouse cursor showing and the movement of that is laggy. When starting Task Manager I can see EA processes causing high CPU usage which quickly drops once Task Manager is open. I have uninstalled the app, made sure my laptop is working properly and reinstalled thee app and getting this again twice with my laptop working perfectly without the app installed and getting this problem when it is installed. I have had to leave it uninstalled which means I cant use my games.
