ea app won't install sims 4 - 'no internet connection' error

I'm having this same problem, but when I try to update the Sims 2 re-release, then when I tried to repair the game, then I uninstalled it and now I can't actually reinstall it :(

I know my internet is fine, so it must be the app or the games themselves
