EC:10500 Error

I try to login to the EA app and keep getting the Login failed error code. Is this something I can fix myself? Or is this possibly due to so many people playing/downloading after the re-release of Sims 1 and 2?

    I uninstalled and re-installed the app, fixed the issue!
