Expansion Pack not recognized on External Harddrive

I was able to download the base Sims 4 game to my external hard drive for my Mac and play without any issues but it is not recognizing the Seasons expansion pack I recently downloaded despite it bein...

Solved: it was a permissions and security issue then had to activate the deactivated pack via the game vs the EA app.
