Franchise app crashing - unplayable

Madden NFL 27 Mobile crashes every time I select Franchise → Play a Full Season Schedule.

Quick Game works normally, so the game itself is playable. I first had this problem on my iPad. I updated the iPad to iPadOS 27 and the problem continued.

I then installed Madden NFL 27 Mobile fresh on a completely separate iPhone, and the exact same thing happens there: Quick Game works, but selecting Franchise → Play a Full Season Schedule immediately crashes the app.

I also cannot get far enough into Franchise/Season mode to create a new season.

This appears to be a Franchise/Season-mode issue rather than a device or installation issue?
