game code redeemed
i redeemed a code got the game started downloading it and left it to download but after i got back the game was nowhere to be found

It sounds like the installation did not finish, which is why the game does not appear under your installed games in your library.
If you scroll down in your EA app library, you can see "My Games", where your owned games which haven't yet been installed are listed. You should find your game there, and you can then try and download it again.
