How to get EA app or previous Origin app working?!

PC player here.

I made the switch from the Origin app to the EA app.  Now, I have lost access to my entire library. 

I contacted Technical support.  Described the problem I am experiencing.....................

Last month........"They are aware of my issue, it has happened to many people, but there is nothing they can do and do not know when a fix will be implemented"

How can I re-install the previous Origin app so I can get access to the games I paid for?  Does it even work? 

Or can I get a refund on my games?  (Battlefield series, Medal of Honor series).

Any of you guys had any luck getting refunds?
