How to "point" to game files on seperate HDD after new EA instal

Recently added new SSD card to Win 10 desktop PC. Reinstalled O/S and adding back various programs, including EA App.

Previously, games files were down loaded to a separate HDD (in this case G) which is still in place. When I open EA, it shows my games but indicates I need to down load them. To avoid having to do so again, how do I “point” the app to the existing files located on my G drive?

  • I had something similar earlier on. i use an HDD normally for all my games and the EA app, but after installing DA Veilguard and loading it up for the first time it recommended i use an SDD card to increase performance. so i copied the game folder over to my C drive (SDD) but then it wouldnt run and the EA app was saying the game wasnt installed.

moving the files back to the original HDD fixed the issue, but i would like to be able to use the SDD if i can for higher graphics performance if i can without having to re-download and install everything.
