New EA account ban for no reason after January 29 server crash
Long story short, on this account I have Battlefield 1 standard edition and EA app even tells me I own it and won't let me purchase again (because I obviously own it) but ingame and on socials, my friends see me as a trial player. Contacted support, no fix. Okay then I guess I can spend 2$ on steam again and buy the game to link a new EA account to it to play with my friends again since 2$ is really cheap. Guess what, that fresh new account gets banned before I can even log into it after servers were back up, let alone launch the game for the first time. As can be seen on the attached screenshot there is no reason being provided whatsoever. Contacted support twice and still no reason was given and both requests to lift the ban were rejected. I was basically forced to refund my purchase on steam because of EA's inaction and refusal to elaborate on the reasoning of bannig my fresh and literally zero activity account and it leads me to believe that EA help is run by bots and not real people which is why they cannot even comprehend the request to provide a reason for the ban. Can I please get some real human eyes on this here? It's ridiculous honestly.
