Nothing will download

The new Sims 4 update will not download. I've tried many things, clearing ea cache, running ea as adminastrator, uninstalling and reinstalling ea, restarting ea, restarting pc. I am on Windows 11, the download gets to 3% then pauses, if I click for it to keep updating the download flicks between 0 and 3% for a bit then eventually it stops again and says Something went wrong. I also have tried repairing the Sims 4 on EA but it tries for a bit and eventually also says something went wrong too it seems to be a problem with downloading I think. I keep clicking resume case on EA help and nothing happens so I am trying this, please help me. the live chat bot things are useless

  • KingForTheStrays  Please do all of this together:

    • Clear the EA App's cache again
    • Run the App as an admin
    • Disable your antivirus if you use a third-party program
    • Repair rather than update

If none of that helps, please let me know where the game is installed, as in, the location in the EA App under Sims 4 > Manage > View properties.  Please also let me know whether you have room to temporarily install a second copy of the game.
