opening the app

hi, whenever I go to open my EA app the icon at the bottom bounces up and down but doesn't open (I'm using a Mac) it would say at the top left of my screen that EA is opened but its not actually on my screen. I've tried re downloading the app from the internet. I've tried restarting my laptop, I've tried creating space in my storage. I've tried pretty much everything. this has been going on the past few days. any help would be appreciated.
