On the EA website my steam shows up as linked but when i start the app its not there.
Ive tried clearing the cache, verify files on steam then restart both apps and launching the game through steam. nothing is working for me.
Solved it, just had to download REDSEC through EA app and redeem the codes.

hey! i can confirm im logged in with the same account. on the website my linked accounts are steam, xbox, epic and Discord. on my EA app all i can see linked is my discord. When launching the game through steam i can not see any error messages.

It sounds like you can launch EA games just fine, which means your accounts should be linked properly. Otherwise, you would've received a pop-up prompting you to link Steam to an EA account. Another indicator of a successful link is if you can see your Steam friends in the taskbar on the right side of the screen.
On that note, the EA website is the most accurate channel to check whether your accounts are linked. If you followed the steps on this page when linking those platform accounts, and the account you've signed in to in the EA App matches the one on the website, you should be good to go. I believe Discord is one of the few platforms that need to be linked via the EA App, so it will definitely appear under the app's connected accounts section.
So im still having the issue with my steam not showing up as Linked in the EA app. I got ingame codes i want to redeem but at the moment its impossible.
Fully close the EA App and Steam (run as admin) or clear the EA App cache.
