Packs Installing but not showing up in game

after playing around I think this is the solution for now...even though it is a bit of a pain to do! In the main menu at the top its says Home and Marketplace....go to the Marketplace! Then My Collection, then you should see to the right 2 options Pack Selection & Manage Storage..click Pack Selection, find the pack u downloaded it will say deactivated (or something like that) click on it then the confirm option then follow what it says :) also I don't think it matters where you got your pack :) a lot of people seem to be having this  issue!

The same thing happened to me: I bought a pack elsewhere, redeemed the code in the EA App, and launched the game. It would show that the pack was installed, but would not allow me to play in the world. When I went into the marketplace and clicked "My collection", the pack was deactivated. I had to go to "pack selection" and re-activate the pack. I guess they didn't like that I bought it outside of the marketplace.

I think I found the issue....so I downloaded Spa Day the way I thought was working but it didn't show up in game...here's the thing though...I went to where I downloaded my kits (right in marketplace..thought it was a work around) and it said Spa Day deactivated but installed so I activated it there and it fixed the issue so somehow the game maybe is deactivating packs but still allowing them to be downloaded but if u download them right from marketplace it activates it right away!...idk...weird

here's the really weird thing... on the home page of the EA App where you see new stuff and then go down it says new and popular then go down more it shows different types of packs...(only works if they aren't downloaded now) if you click on the ones u own...download them that way cuz it works BUT if you go to your sims 4 game and do Manage add-ons and download them that way it doesn't!!!! weird....I just tried and ya... first way worked and 2nd didn't...sadly 1st way doesn't show/work for kits...not sure a way around for those yet

I am currently having the same problem as you I got on this morning and when I went to my worlds half of them are missing I did all the steps I am getting irriatated
