 @Bluebellflora  No I’ve never installed anything like that in terms of “cleaning” apps. I only had NordVPN for a while but I got rid of it some time ago. I read somewhere that using the migration tool (which I used when I purchased this laptop to transfer everything from my older one) might cause some issue but I’m not sure how true that is. 
also I’m running the latest version of Sonoma I believe it’s 14.4.1

Yeah, I never use Migration Assistant when I set up a new Mac. I get it can be a good thing but I like to install my apps from scratch and start with a clean slate.

How about starting clean again with Origin then EA App? Use my link that you did before to manually trash the EA App files then trash the app itself, also use this to trash the Origin files and trash the Origin app - https://bluebellflora.com/how-to-uninstall-origin-on-a-mac/

Then re-download and install Origin, making sure to allow all permissions when prompted. I always disable the options when launching Origin for the first time (automatic login at launch, automatic game updates). Launch Origin then migrate to EA App when prompted 🤞

    @Bluebellflora I've done all of this and continue to get an error message. I see on another thread others are having the same error as I am (EC108) or it's happening like OP is describing. This EA app just seems to be failing for everyone

    @Bluebellflora I tried this a few times, unfortunately the same thing keeps happening with the EA app. I tried chatting with EA and they said they’re aware of the issue and to stay tuned for updates so I guess there’s not much I can do :/

    I got the same problem almost 7 days EA advisors are not helping they are giving not helpful solutions i have tried every solution they gave me but still i am getting updates in the EA updater how is it possible that 7 days past and no fix
