problems with updating to new language

I wanted to switch the language from English to Danish and then my SIMS4 started updating. I regretted it and interrupted the update. After that, it has been stuck on updating for several hours, but nothing is happening - it's just going in circles. I can't close the app or interrupt anything. What should I do?
