- It seems like an issue with the old saved temp files in the EA App launcher. We need to clear these unused temporary files from the system in order to fix this issue. I would request you to clear the cache of the EA/Origin App and restart your PC/Mac. This will help you to fix this bug in your system. - ive cleared the cache, and have even comepletey reinstalled the EA app, including deleteing all regisrty files and reinstalling

I would request you to report the problem on the official website of EA so that it can can be noticed by the developers and after that they will try to solve this issues for all the affected player if needed.
